  • Press Shift + Command + 3.
  • The picture will be on your desktop

How to capture just a part of your screen:

  • Press Shift + Command + 4.
  • The picture will be on your desktop

How to record a video on your Mac:

  • Open QuickTime
  • Click on “File” which is located at the top of the display
  • Click on “New Screen Recording” and press “Record”
  • Record the whole screen, or click and drag to mark a specific part that you want to record.
